About us

Who are we?

The Culture is a multi-city festival that connects the Czech and Slovak rap and pop scene with a young generation of fans.

It was born out of the desire to create something that was missing here – a place where music, community and the energy of the city come together.

The idea took shape long before the first stage. Two event crews, Student Vibes and POP OUT Entertainment, decided to combine their experience and know-how from club nights and student projects to build a festival with soul. A festival that’s more than just a line-up.

The first edition took place in 2023 and proved that The Culture has its place on the map – and above all in the hearts of its visitors. We grow every year, connecting new cities and delivering powerful experiences across the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

The Culture is about the people who make the scene. About those who want to experience something real, be part of the moment and rewrite the definition of a cultural festival.

Edition
2023

The Culture festival was born in 2023, when we first brought music, the energy of the young generation and a unique atmosphere together in a single project.

01.

Liberec

2,400+ festival visitors

The first edition took place in Liberec, at the P1 car park at the foot of Ještěd – a place that, for one weekend, turned into the heart of the Czech and Slovak rap and pop scene.

It was our first attempt, but also our first big success. Despite the limited resources we had back then and a brand-new team, we managed to create an event that drew hundreds of people and gave them an authentic music experience.

Since then, the festival has grown to several cities across the Czech Republic and become a multi-city concept that connects fans from different regions. What started as a local event has gradually turned into a strong brand that today attracts tens of thousands of visitors a year, offers a unique atmosphere and gives space both to young talent and to the biggest names on the scene.

Edition
2024

The second chapter, which confirmed our direction. After a successful start in 2023, in 2024 we decided to take The Culture another step further.

02.

Liberec

3,000+ festival visitors

České Budějovice

4,000+ festival visitors

For the first time, the festival expanded to two cities – alongside Liberec, we added České Budějovice, where the first edition took place in the T1 hall and welcomed four thousand visitors.

Together with the Liberec stop, which built on the previous edition, we felt for the first time that The Culture was becoming a nationwide project. The second edition was pure fire from the start – a stronger line-up, more professional production, bigger venues and double the energy.

In Liberec, the car park at the foot of Ještěd once again turned into an unforgettable open-air festival, while in České Budějovice we tried out a new concept combining music with an indoor space.

The response from fans pleasantly surprised us – more than 7,000 people came in total, a clear sign that The Culture was becoming part of summer for thousands of young people from all over the country.

Edition
2025

A year of growth and new cities. 2025 was another big step for us. The Culture had long since stopped being just a local event and became a festival connecting three Czech cities: České Budějovice, Liberec and, for the first time, Olomouc.

03.

Liberec

6,000+ festival visitors

České Budějovice

8,500+ festival visitors

Olomouc

4,500+ festival visitors

With that, we created a truly multi-city concept for the first time, opening the door to thousands of new visitors and partners.

Every city had its own story. In České Budějovice, we moved to the iconic Budvar brewery grounds, where the ideal space and amazing atmosphere helped us reach record attendance – up to 8,000 people.

In Liberec, we carried on at our traditional spot at the foot of Ještěd and proved once again that this location has a magic that never gets old.

And finally Olomouc, where we held the first edition in the stunning setting of Korunní pevnůstka.

All in all, in 2025 we welcomed more than 16,000 visitors, racked up millions of views on social media and confirmed that The Culture is one of the fastest-growing music festivals in the Czech Republic. Every stop had its own atmosphere, but the common denominator was energy, emotion and the drive to do things honestly and with passion.

Edition
2026

A new level of The Culture. 2026 was a breakthrough year for us. After several years of building, experimenting and growing, we presented the most sophisticated edition in The Culture’s history.

04.

České Budějovice Winter

4,000+ festival visitors

České Budějovice Summer

9,000+ festival visitors

Olomouc

4,500+ festival visitors

Liberec

8,000+ festival visitors

Plzeň

4,000+ festival visitors

From a single city at the start, we’ve grown to four stops across the Czech Republic – Liberec, České Budějovice, Olomouc and, new this year, Plzeň.

Each of these cities brought its own atmosphere, a unique venue and a line-up that took the whole festival to the next level.

Our goal for 2026 was to create the best The Culture ever. From production and visuals to side activities and partnerships – we did everything with maximum focus on quality and detail. In Liberec, we played for two days for the first time and set up our biggest open-air edition yet in the car park by Home Credit Arena.

České Budějovice hosted two stops – a winter one in halls T1 & T2 with a completely new format, and a summer one at the Budvar brewery grounds.

In Olomouc, we met again at Korunní pevnůstka, and at Amfiteátr Plaza we welcomed Plzeň as a brand-new city on The Culture map.

Altogether, we welcomed more than 29,000 visitors in 2026. For us, 2026 meant not only expansion but also the culmination of several years of work. The Culture has become a brand that brings together young people, music and experiences – and this edition was the most intense, biggest and most authentic experience we’ve ever created. Not just for us, but above all for everyone who is part of our community.
