The Culture festival visitor rules

VISITOR RULES – THE CULTURE FESTIVAL

By entering the premises where the event is held, the visitor agrees to the Visitor Rules of the festival THE CULTURE. The visitor undertakes to comply with the laws of the Czech Republic and the instructions set out in these Visitor Rules, both on the premises where the event is held and in the areas adjacent to the event. Complaints can only be made before entering the premises WHERE THE EVENT IS HELD. Every visitor ENTERING THE PREMISES WHERE THE EVENT TAKES PLACE acknowledges that they attend the event at their own risk.

Entry to the event is permitted from the age of 15; younger visitors may only enter when accompanied by a legal guardian over the age of 18. ENTRY IS ONE-TIME ONLY, which means that visitors cannot leave the premises once they have entered the grounds. The age limit may vary depending on the type of event. Every visitor is required to present an ID CARD OR OTHER PROOF OF IDENTITY when entering the event premises. Anyone who does not present proof of identity will not be admitted to the event.

It is strictly prohibited to serve alcohol to minors (or for minors to buy it). Minors who are intoxicated or under the influence of drugs will not be admitted, or will be escorted out of the premises WHERE THE EVENT IS HELD (with no entitlement to a refund of the admission fee).

Every person entering the premises where the event takes place is required to behave in such a way as not to damage the premises or their equipment, not to disturb or endanger other visitors and not to disrupt the event, and is required to keep the premises clean and tidy. If a visitor notices damage to the event premises or inappropriate behaviour by other visitors, they are required to report it to the staff. Persons who endanger the safety of others, cause damage to property or otherwise disturb other visitors at the event, whether on the premises or in the adjacent areas, lose their right to remain there.

 THE CULTURE festival reserves the right to refuse entry to, or to admit, any person at its discretion, and to remove any person who fails to comply with the Visitor Rules, breaks the laws of the Czech Republic or contravenes other legal regulations, fails to follow the Organiser’s instructions, endangers other visitors, or whose behaviour is found to be improper. In the event of a breach of the laws of the Czech Republic or damage to the VENUE’s facilities (including scribbling anywhere in the building), the offender will be handed over to the Police of the Czech Republic or the municipal police.

Persons under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other addictive, narcotic or psychotropic substances may be refused entry to the event, or may be expelled from the premises where the event is held, without a refund of the admission fee.

Every visitor present at the event is required to follow the instructions of the event staff. Anyone who fails to do so will be made to leave the premises where the event is held, with no entitlement to a refund of the admission fee.

 

For security reasons, every visitor entering the event is required to undergo a personal security search and a check of any items brought in.

It is prohibited to bring the following onto the premises of THE CULTURE festival: dangerous objects, weapons, bottles, psychotropic, narcotic and addictive substances, markers, spray cans, self-defence sprays, toxic substances, solvents, bulky items, pyrotechnics, and visitors’ own non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. Drinks confiscated at the entrance will be thrown away by the operator. 

Animals are not allowed at the events.

Event visitors are required to observe the smoking ban IN INDOOR AREAS.

 

In the event area, it is prohibited to leave clothing and luggage lying around or unattended. The cloakroom is provided for storing outerwear, backpacks and clothing.

The organisers of THE CULTURE festival are not liable for the contents of pockets and luggage left in the cloakroom, or for items left in areas outside the cloakroom. The organiser of THE CULTURE festival accepts no responsibility for damage to or theft of visitors’ personal belongings.

Visitors are prohibited from entering areas that are not open to visitors (e.g. club and bar back-of-house areas, artists’ rooms, the stage, storerooms, etc.)

 

By entering the event area, the visitor consents to photographs and audiovisual recordings capturing the visitor being taken in connection with the event programme and on its premises, and to their subsequent use. No remuneration or other compensation is due for the taking and use of such photographs and audiovisual recordings. This consent also applies to minors accompanying the visitor.

Once a visitor leaves the event area, they cannot return to the event without paying the admission fee again, with the exception of ARTIST tickets.

The operator is entitled to close entry to the event once its capacity has been reached. This decision lies solely with the organisers and/or authorised persons. The organiser is entitled to end the event earlier than the scheduled time if there is a risk of harm to health or life, damage to the property of the event venue and/or damage to the property of THE CULTURE festival. 

or if the number of visitors drops to a level unsuitable for the event.

 

The organiser reserves the right to change the date, venue or programme of the event. Any change will be announced without undue delay via the organiser’s communication channels.

 

After the event ends, visitors are required to leave the event premises. After leaving the event area, visitors are required to behave quietly and considerately in the surrounding area so as not to endanger, disturb or inconvenience the neighbourhood.    

 

Visitors are required to behave in such a way that no DISTURBANCE OF PUBLIC ORDER occurs on the event premises or in their surroundings (Generally Binding Municipal Ordinances).

 

In addition to what follows from public administration regulations, the Civil Code applies: no one may disturb another person beyond a degree that is reasonable under the circumstances.

 

Under Section 358(1) of the Czech Criminal Code, disorderly conduct means behaviour that disrupts the peaceful coexistence of citizens, public peace and order. The penalty for disorderly conduct is imprisonment of up to two years.
