What personal data we process when you visit theculture.cz, why, for how long and what your rights are.

Who processes your data

The controller is CULTURE FESTIVAL, s.r.o., company ID 22295917, Belgická 280/1, Praha 2, Czech Republic. Contact us about anything related to personal data at info@theculture.cz.

Visiting the website

Every visit involves technical data (IP address, browser type, the page visited) needed to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, based on our legitimate interest in running a secure website. The site runs on Vercel. We log technical errors without tokens or sensitive parts of URLs.

Cookies, measurement and advertising

We always use necessary cookies and storage (remembering your cookie choice, signing in to the internal system). Analytics and marketing tools run only with your consent, given in the cookie bar and changeable or withdrawable any time under “Cookie settings” in the footer. Consent is valid for 12 months.

Marketing (Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API, Google Ads): used to measure ads and to show you festival ads on Facebook, Instagram and the Google network (remarketing). We share pages visited and events on the site (viewing an event or tickets, a submitted order, a purchase and its value), cookie identifiers (_fbp, _fbc), IP address and browser type. When you order tickets in the checkout on our site, we also share your e-mail, phone and name with Meta to match the purchase with an ad — only in hashed (irreversibly encoded) form. We send the same events to Meta from our server too (Conversions API), so they are not counted twice and measurement works in browsers that limit it.

Analytics (Google Analytics): aggregated visitor statistics — how many people visited and what interested them.

Recipients are Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. and Google Ireland Ltd.; they may transfer data to the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Meta’s cookie (_fbp) lasts 90 days; data in advertising audiences at most 180 days.

Line-up newsletter

If you sign up, we process your e-mail, chosen cities and language to send you new line-up names and festival news, based on your consent. E-mails are sent via Resend. We delete your data when you unsubscribe — every e-mail has an unsubscribe link.

Buying tickets

Tickets are sold and payments processed by EventLook (eventlook.cz), including the checkout embedded on our site. Data you enter there is processed by EventLook under its own terms and policies; we access orders to the extent needed to run the festival (ticket checks, event communication). What the checkout shares for ad measurement is described under Cookies, measurement and advertising — only with your consent.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object. You can withdraw consent at any time (cookies in the footer, newsletter via the link in each e-mail) without affecting earlier processing. You can complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz). Just write to info@theculture.cz.

Effective from 4 October 2026.
