Who is Manene

Manene, real name Roman Janků, is a DJ and music producer who has been behind the decks since he was fifteen. Around 2010 he started out in Prague clubs such as Lávka and Štvanice and in Ostrava's Le Bazar and Barvy, and a year later he became a resident at Prague's Coco Café and Bar Bar. According to his own bio, he plays around a hundred shows a year and is one of the busiest DJs in the country.

For AC Sparta Praha, the club he has supported since childhood, he created the stadium's goal song. In May 2024 he released the track “Letná” with rapper Rohony, which according to Sparta racked up more than 300,000 plays in its first 24 hours – more than any Czech track before it – and passed a million in under five days. He is also the founder of Zrće Festival, a Czech-Slovak event on Zrće beach in Croatia.

At The Culture he played the afterparty in České Budějovice in 2024 and the Winter Edition in February 2026.
