Who is Cashanova Bulhar

Ca$hanova Bulhar (pronounced “Kasanova Bulhar”), real name Matěj Kratejl, is a Prague rapper and a member of the Dvojlitrboyzz crew. His name refers to his Bulgarian roots on his mother's side (“Bulhar” is Czech for “Bulgarian”): at fifteen he moved with his mother to Sofia, learned Bulgarian and still references Bulgaria in his music today. He entered the scene in 2016 with the mixtape Hood Celebrity, but only drew attention with the sequel Hood Celebrity 2 (2018) and the viral single “Swag Martin Fenin”, one of his football-themed tracks.

From football he gradually moved on to hedonism. His lyrics are full of parties, money, short-lived relationships and characters who squander their talent and wealth – always with tongue-in-cheek exaggeration and self-awareness, though. The turning point was the EP TIMBERLAKETRAPPED (2019) with the hit “Zrovna jí to najelo”, recorded with Labello, and above all the album rap disco revoluce (2020), inspired by the figure of 1990s entrepreneur Ivan Jonák. According to Wikipedia, the record – without a single guest – topped the Czech album chart and went platinum.

Since then he has released a new album practically every year: THUG LOVE SOFIA (2020), Romeo (2021), Dripolar (2022), Flex Symbol (2023), Swag Side Story (2024), Ca$hflow (2025) and Matty Supreme (2026). From 2019 to 2023 he also co-hosted the football podcast OFFSEASON with Labello.
