Who is Dollar Prync

Dollar Prync is a rapper from Prague's Smíchov district who tells the story of his neighbourhood and the people around him in a raw, unvarnished way – he describes his music himself as “ulice, stoka rap” (street, gutter rap). He comes from a Roma family, spent part of his childhood in Canada near Toronto and later lived in England and Ireland. He recorded his first track, titled “Smíchov”, after turning fifteen, when he got his first computer; in England he then founded the group Czech Squad with producer EkoO and other friends.

The turning point came when, after a concert in Manchester, he met Smack and landed on his label Archetyp 51. What followed was the Jeb System series and tracks such as “Pasu lubně”, “Nikdy se nezměnim” and “Msport” with Sergei Barracuda. The album Kures Drill (2023) is a faithful Czech take on UK drill with guests such as Sergei Barracuda, Hard Rico, Phidizz and Luca Brassi10x, and reviewers praised above all its authenticity. It also includes the successful track “Režim nerušit” with Hard Rico. In August 2025 he released the album RACKS.

In his lyrics he mixes Czech with Romani slang, and his tracks have millions of plays on YouTube, TikTok and Spotify. In March 2024 he filled Prague's Roxy club, celebrating his birthday there at the same time.
