Who is STEIN27

STEIN27, real name Petr Adámek, grew up in Telnice near Brno. Before going full-time with music, he trained as a metalworking machinist and spent a year working on the machines. His stage name refers to the video game Wolfenstein and his favourite number, 27. He started releasing his first tracks at the end of 2016 via YouTube channels that support up-and-coming rappers, and was briefly part of the group Sky Club Benelux.

In 2019 he joined the Brno collective Rychlí kluci, which operates under Mike Roft Records, and recorded the successful single “Růže” with Calin. His debut album Teorie pádu (2020) spent three weeks at the top of the Czech sales chart, making STEIN27 the youngest artist ever to lead it. After the EP Návrat na planetu Zemi (2021), 2023 brought the record President of Sexico with the viral hit “Habibi”, one of the most-streamed tracks of the year in the Czech Republic. Its guests include Calin, SIMILIVINLIFE, Sofian Medjmedj and Nik Tendo.

His songs tend to be melancholic and speak openly about the doubts and anxieties his generation recognises itself in. He compares rap to a diary: whatever he needs to get off his chest, he says into the mic. According to a Refresher review, his style is easy to recognise and doesn't stick to classic rhyme schemes. In autumn 2025 he played his biggest solo concert to date at Prague's O2 universum.
