Who is Robin Zoot

Robin Zoot, real name Robert Pouzar, is a rapper from Ústí nad Labem and a long-standing face of the Milion+ Entertainment label. He has been actively making music since around 2013, when he moved in the circle of the collective YZO Empire, out of which Milion+ emerged two years later. He released his first record on the label, Cocktail Party, in 2016. His interest in hip hop is academic too: at the Faculty of Education of UJEP, the university in Ústí, he defended a bachelor's thesis on the basic elements of hip hop and the emergence of new styles.

He gained wider attention with the album 0002 (2017) and the joint record with DJ Rusty, Tvoje Mama Vi Co Je Namrd (2018), which includes the fan favourite “Emma Smetana” with Yzomandias and Nik Tendo. It was followed by the albums Pouzar (2020), Robby Trouble (2021), Make Sudety Great Again (2022), PONYA (2024) and Majitel (2026), which features guests including Viktor Sheen, BUKA and Hard Rico. His best-known videos include “Česká Floriida”, with millions of views on YouTube.

Zoot's lyrics are built on exaggeration, double meanings and playful metaphors. At the same time, he makes no secret of his local patriotism: in an interview with Ústecký deník he said he wants to “put Ústí back on the map” and show young people that they don't have to leave the north to succeed. That identity also runs through the title of the album Make Sudety Great Again (Sudety being the Czech name for the country's borderland regions).
