Who is Yzomandias

Yzomandias, real name Jakub Vlček, was born in 1991 in Karlovy Vary. He got into music through DJing at the age of thirteen and has been rapping since sixteen. He first performed as DJ Logic and later as Logic, went through the groups KIDZ, Zutroy Clique and Fuerza Arma, and drew attention with the mixtape series Hráč roku and the project Czech Made Man.

In 2015 he turned his crew YZO Empire into the label Milion+ Entertainment, which went on to release music by Robin Zoot, Karlo, Hasan and Nik Tendo, among others. That same year saw the album Yzomandias, on which he introduced his new name. He was one of the first Czech rappers to fully embrace trap – both in sound and in an image inspired by the American scene. Next came the albums Ze dna (2016), Zhora vypadá všechno líp (2017), Sbohem Roxano (2018), Dobrá duše, srdce ze zlata (2019) and Prozyum (2020), which won him an Anděl in the hip hop & rap category. The EP Melanž with Nik Tendo also made a big splash.

Highlights of recent years include the joint record with Nik Tendo, Kruhy a vlny (2022), the album Yzomandias II: Zpátky na svojí planetu (2023) and the record Painkillers, which he made in 2024 with Cheb rapper PTK. He also guested on Hard Rico's hit “NARCOS”. Alongside albums, he releases the mixtape series J.Eden.
