Who is Bae

Singer bae (stylised in lowercase) found her audience through TikTok. She shared snippets of songs in progress there, racked up hundreds of thousands of views, and her followers helped her finish the tracks and called for official releases. Before going solo, she sang in a band and in a choir.

In June 2024 she released her debut single Lies on Universal Music, about a no-strings relationship – a so-called situationship. It was followed by a collaboration with Ben Cristovao on the song Srdce jo, hlava ne and the single Vůně cíg with producer Ondřej Fiedler. In further tracks – Mít rád, Bílo, Tóny, Supernova and Klíč – she continues with personal lyrics about relationships and mixed signals, as well as the fear people carry with them from childhood (Tóny). According to the music media, her songs draw mainly on personal experience and emotion.

On her recordings she works with a range of producers – Mít rád was made with Rudolphh and Jay88, Supernova was produced by the trio Production Lovers and Klíč by Ostrava beatmaker Udochi Ahanono Ajumole. She shot the video for Klíč herself while on holiday. Her live bookings are handled by the agency United Stage.
