Who is Viktor Sheen

Viktor Sheen, real name Viktor Dundych, was born in 1993 in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and moved to the Czech Republic with his family at the age of three. He grew up in Kladno, where at the end of the 2000s he joined the local rap crew Crap Crew. He was later part of the Blakkwood label, released several mixtapes and, in 2015, the joint album Projekt Asia with Renne Dang, whose title refers to both artists' Asian roots.

After leaving Blakkwood in 2017, he released the solo record Jungler and, a year later, the album Grál with Jickson. The turning point was the record Černobílej svět (2019) with the hit “Až na měsíc”, which became the best-selling original Czech album of the year. It was followed by Barvy (2020), Příběhy a sny (2021), Planeta opic (2023) and Impostor syndrom (2024), which won him an Anděl in the rap category. His joint album Roadtrip with Calin (2023) scored at the Anděl Awards as Collaboration of the Year. Spotify named him the most-streamed artist in the Czech Republic in 2021 and 2023.

Sheen alternates rap with melodic singing and occasionally weaves Russian, his native language, into his lyrics. He often writes about family, self-doubt and living with success. In November 2025, under the alter ego BUKA, he released the stylistically different album Já, mé druhé já a Kristýna. In recent years he has presented his records with big concerts at Prague's O2 arena, inviting guests from the Czech scene.
